Children will explore real science concepts through hands-on discovery, story-based learning, playful demonstrations, and guided observation. Each month features a new theme and includes outdoor activities that build science vocabulary, spark curiosity, and support joyful, age-appropriate learning.
Sessions take place in a private backyard near Upper Gage and Stone Church, close to Templemead School in Hamilton.
Exact address will be shared with registered families by email.
Payments for classes can be e-transfered to payments@mycanadianfamily.ca when you have recieved your confirmation email.

What are germs? Where do they go? And how does the body fight back?
This month, children will investigate invisible invaders through exciting experiments and practical learning. We’ll model how germs spread, explore how fevers help us heal, and take a closer look at the science behind sneezes, handwashing, and bandages.
Cost: $60 for four classes ($15 each) + $10 for a lab coat.

This month, we’re digging into what’s under your skin — with guts, goo, and skeleton bones. Each week, children will learn about their senses and investigate a different body system through hands-on activities and experiments.
