Math Club is a play-based, story-rich introduction to early math concepts. Through hands-on materials, picture books, movement, and crafts, children will explore numeration, operations, place value, measurement, and geometry in a joyful and supportive setting.
Each week follows a consistent structure to help children feel confident and successful. Sessions are designed to build foundational math vocabulary, strengthen problem-solving, and encourage curiosity through guided play.
Children should be able to count and recognize numbers 1–10 before joining Math Club.
Sessions take place in a private backyard near Upper Gage and Stone Church, close to Templemead School in Hamilton.

Payments for classes can be e-transfered to payments@mycanadianfamily.ca when you have recieved your confirmation email.
Children will strengthen their number sense through games, stories, and playful exploration. Sessions repeat the same routine each week, allowing learners to gain confidence and deepen their understanding over time.
Sessions will aim to include the following math strands:
– Numeration
- Operations (Addition and Subtraction)
- Place Value
- Measurement
- Geometry
Cost: $120 for eight classes ($15 each)
